1. How can I get a library card?

Citizens of Aberdeen and Brown County can apply for a free library card at the Information desk at the library.  Patrons from outside Brown County can obtain a card for a small fee.

2. Does the library have computers available for public use?

The library has desktop computers available for public use.  Computers are available on first come, first serve basis.  A library card in not required to use the desktop computers and there is no charge for the service.

The library has a limited number of laptops and iPads available for check out for in library use only for patrons 18 years and older.  Present a valid ID and a library card in good standing at the information desk to check one out.

3. Does the public library offer technology help?

The public library offers 1:1 technology appointments for individualized support with basic technology needs.

The library website has free technology training through several online resources available 24/7.  Topics range from beginner typing, navigating Facebook, using eBay and hundreds more. 

4. When is the library open?

Current hours are Mondays through Thursdays 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Fridays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  Saturday and Sundays 12:00 PM (noon) to 4:00 PM.
