[ARCHIVED] Fire Hydrant Flushing Continues in New Area

Beginning at approximately 8:00 on Monday, June 10, 2013, weather permitting the Aberdeen Fire Department will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:
6th Avenue South to 15th Avenue North
between
5th Street and Roosevelt Street
The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty. The project will continue until completed in these areas of the city until all hydrants have been tested. Any questions or problems can be reported to the Public Works Department at 626-7010.
