January 16, 2013: Duct Tape Sculpture

We will be sculpting with newspaper and duct tape. Using a piece of cardboard as the base support, we will crumple up pieces of old newspaper to shape and give body to your sculpture. Next we will add duct tape to hold it in place. You may want to add several layers of newspaper and tape to achieve the desired affect. Once you are finished "sculpting" your work, you may paint it if you wish.

The goal of this project is to get you to use your imagination-get creative and make an interesting 3-D design!
