COVID-19 Library News

The K. O. Lee Public Library is open and has a phased COVID-19 response plan. We are guided by the counsel of city, county, and state health officials as the well-being and safety of customers and staff are our top priority. Future updates will be posted here.

The library doors are open 7 days a week, see library home page for hours of operation. We have resumed our pre-COVID services including the availability of newspapers, study rooms and community rooms. The drive up and walk up book drops are both open. We will continue to offer curbside pickup as a convenient option for our patrons.

During this time, we will utilize our website and social media channels to share information, including updates on our reopening phases and tips for making the most of online library resources. We also encourage you to explore books, movies, shows, research tools, fall programs and more to download and stream.

Please stay safe, monitor your health, follow guidelines recommended by the Center for Disease Control and check for updates at the SD State Department of Health.
