Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. ART BREAK - GUIDED OPEN STUDIO
Take an Art Break! Come to the ARCC for weekly gatherings to wind down through art. Try out art journaling, coloring, creative drawing from pattern recognition, zentangle art, and creative writing. Bring your own projects from home to work in a relaxing, stress free atmosphere. Some supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own! Ages 18 and up.
Dates: Thursdays, January 13 - April 28
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

OPEN STUDIO
On each Thursday of the month, space will be set aside to come in and work on your own projects in an open studio setting with other artists. All supplies are to be provided by participants; however, some equipment such as paper cutters, scissors and other items may be used upon permission. Participants must check in with the front desk on studio location each week. Participants must schedule an orientation time prior to the first time working in the studio.

WOMEN, FOOD, AND HORMONES
This 5-week class is based upon the book Women, Food and Hormones written by Dr. Sara Gottfried. The book lays out a health plan that integrates an evidenced based approach to the ketogenic diet for women that has been proven to help women lose weight, sleep better and have more energy. Ages 40-90.

NEW! FIGHT BACK SELF-DEFENSE
This 6-week class will focus on practical hands-on applications for real-life situations. Participants will gain self-confidence as they begin to recognize and put to use basic survival instincts and natural reactions in potentially threatening situations. Participants should wear clothes suitable for low impact exercise. Ages 12 and up.

SOCIAL DANCE

COUNTRY TWO STEP
The two-step is a basic dance move done by singles, partners and groups. This class will cover the basic two step as adapted to Country Music. Instruction will focus on the basic moves, footwork and turns. Get off your chair and onto the dance floor! Ages 15 and up.

ABERDEEN SENIOR LINE DANCERS
Line dancing is an excellent way to keep physically fit, build agility and exercise the memory. The Aberdeen Senior Line Dancers meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at the ARCC at 1:00 p.m. for line dance fun and socialization. An Aberdeen Senior Center Membership is required to participate. PiYo is athletic training that is influenced by Pilates and Yoga. Use your own body weight as resistance and combine the stretch of yoga with the core strengthening of Pilates to streamline and define your muscles, while building strength and flexibility in your athletic ability. High intensity, yet low impact, this workout is ideal for anyone looking to add variety to their routine, gain strength and mobility at the same time, or begin implementing a core strengthening program. This is a class that combines energy, movement and flow into yoga and Pilates!
