Come on over to the ARCC for some drop in, DIY art therapy through self-directed activities. Studies have shown that Art can take your mind off of what is stressing you. No talent? Who Cares??!!! These sessions are not product oriented – just enjoy the process! Ages 18 and up. Most materials supplied. No charge.


ART JOURNALING: PLAY AWAY THE STRESS
Explorations in art journaling as an oasis of safety and pleasure to express whatever is on your mind, both scary things and delights. Your journal can be as private or as public as you chose because it is yours! You are in control. So there are no rules and nothing to fear. Bring a journal and your favorite images from magazines, old photos, pressed flowers, etc. Art supplies for embellishment will be provided. Ages 16 and up.
Dates: First and Third weeks - September through December.
Time: Session A: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesdays
          Session B: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursdays

ZENTANGLE!
Promote tranquility through the art of zentangling. Zentangle is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing that increases focus and creativity while providing an increased sense of personal well-being.
Dates: 1st Thursday, October - December
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.


LUNCH TIME COLOR KLATSCH
De-stress during lunch! Bring your lunch over to the ARCC Gallery, and while you’re at it, de-stress by carelessly coloring away with friends! Studies have shown that coloring, even as an adult, has tremendous benefits. Break away from the old adult stigma that coloring books are for kids and join us for some mindless coloring with your friends using our adult oriented coloring pages!
Dates: 2nd Wednesday, September - December
Time: 11:00 – 2:00 p.m.


FYBERSPACE
The ARCC “Fyberspace” is a place to explore different fiber projects in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere where you can try out a variety of projects featuring our little fiber buddies. Lose your cares by getting lost in an art project while getting a “fiber fix” through a project that could include felting, working with threads, hemp, jute, cloth, wood, and other fibers.
Dates: 3rd Tuesday, September - December
