Preschool Classes

Registration for Winter/Spring Brochure Classes will begin Tuesday, January 3rd. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available.  All classes are subject to 6.5% sales tax. EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION – NEW!


Experience Early Childhood Education with your child. These parent and child classes allow you to spend one on one time with your child in an early childhood setting. We will have calendar time, do music, poems, and books, play with toys and have sensory experiences each week. Connect with other parents, share and receive parenting tricks and tips, and learn valuable information about child growth and development. Great for meeting people, making friends, and growing along your parenting journey.
Financial assistance is available for qualifying families. Birth to Kindergarten, all ages welcome.

ME & MY SHADOW


A class for parents and children ages 2-4 to gain new experiences while working on fun arts and crafts projects and social skills. Ages 2-4 with adult.

ART START


Art projects especially designed for three to five year olds! Projects are process oriented to practice valuable skills such as cutting, developing fine motor skills, thought processing and socialization. Projects can include cutting, painting, working with clay, modeling dough and others media. Ages 3 - 5. Parents are not required to attend class.

ENGLISH CONVERSATION AND PLAYGROUP – NEW!


Do you know someone who is new to the community and needs help with conversational English? The ARCC is now offering free Conversational English Lessons for Mothers while their children play! Six weeks of drop in lessons and playtime will be available on Monday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Women, Infants, and Children (up to age 6) welcome.

MORE THAN JUST MUSIC – ON MY WAY WITH MUSICAL SKILLS


Put down roots into the fundamental concepts of musicianship through methods such as Orff, Kodaly, and Dalcroze that incorporate movement, creative expression, and social interaction. Start to develop listening, singing, and improvisation abilities. Gain introduction to musical terms and notation, too. The experience will lead to groundbreaking progress on any instrument. Ages: 4-7.

FAMILY NIGHT – NEW!


Cabin Fever? Turn off the TV, gather up the kids, brave the cold, and head to the ARCC for quality time together for our drop in Family Night! This free activity will give families the opportunity to play classic favorite board games, do art projects together, watch a movie, and other fun activities! No charge to participate. Concessions will be available for a small fee. Last one here is a rotten egg! Ages 3-12 with family. No Charge.
