Registration for Winter/Spring Brochure Classes will begin Tuesday, January 3rd. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available.  All classes are subject to 6.5% sales tax. Learn to write a short story or a novel with a step by step foolproof plan. Just like the “wine and canvas” folks can guide you through painting a picture, this class can guide you through writing a story from start to finish. Come with ideas, a work in progress, or nothing at all and we’ll get started! Ages 18 and up.

Writer’s Workshop is the number one way to improve your writing and improve your work in progress. Building off what we’ve learned in beginning story writing, we will dive into plot, structure, and writing styles. This class intended for writers who have taken our beginning story writing class, OR who have a current work in progress. However, all writers welcome, whether or not you have a work in progress!. Bring up to five pages of your work in progress to the first class.

So much stress in your life that you’re afraid you’d binge at a wine and canvas party? No wine to offer, but plenty of whining and laughter therapy (along with coffee, tea and cookies) to help ease the stress of the day! Bring a friend, or go solo in this FUN class geared toward making and completing a mixed-media acrylic painting on canvas. Learn some basic techniques for painting with acrylic paint along with an introduction of various mediums you can add for dimension, texture and special effects. Ages 16 and up.

One of the oldest forms of art, encaustic uses hot wax to paint and seal images in layers. Learn techniques to transfer images onto the wax; ink in lines or paint with oils. The more layers you make, the more depth the finished piece will have. Ages 16 and up.
