Safety Town is a fun, educational program designed to introduce children to a wide variety of safety conditions. Safety Town is open to children who are ages 5-7. Safety songs, poems, art projects, stories, snacks and videos will be combined with actual practice for a fun learning experience. This year’s Safety Town will feature guest teachers from SDSU’s Nursing Program to help us learn how to be both safe and healthy. Safety Town students should bring a light snack to eat in a well-marked bag. Snacks must be free of nuts for the safety of other students. Safety Town is cosponsored by the Zonta Club and the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
