The ARCC Discovery Program offers three levels of age appropriate, fun activities in visual, performing, literary and cultural arts that relate to the weekly theme. Youth may sign up for one or all six sessions. Youth will meet with group leaders Monday through Thursday for each one-week session in either the morning or the afternoon. Morning classes meet 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.(noon); the afternoon classes meet 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Wee and Pre Discovery classes include stories, games, art projects, role-playing, music and dance in a small group setting that follow the weekly themes, emphasizing beginning social and academic skills. Discovery classes for grades 1-6 focus on arts based activities to teach the weekly theme.
All classes are held at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, 225 3rd Avenue SE.

Wee-Discovery – Ages 3-4, Activity #290000
Wee Discovery children must have reached minimum age by May 1 and must be able to use the toilet unassisted. Pre and Wee Discovery Students should bring a light snack to eat in a well-marked bag. Snacks must be free of nuts for the safety of other students.
