MEN’S, WOMEN’S AND MIXED SUMMER TENNIS LEAGUES


The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department provides an Adult Men’s and Women’s Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Leagues. They are divided into various flights according to ability. Once registered, players will be sent a schedule of matches to be played over a five-week period. Players are responsible to schedule their matches during the week at their convenience and place scorecards in the drop box at the Northern State University courts. After the first half, players will be rebracketed for the second half if needed.

1st Half


May 21-June 29 . . . Registration Deadline, May 14

2nd Half


July 9-August 17 . . . Registration Deadline, June 29
Fee: Singles – $28.00
         Doubles – $20.00 per team

Adult Tennis Lessons


All lessons will be at the Melgaard Tennis Courts, located at South Lloyd Street and Melgaard Road.


Session A

  • Date: June 4 - June 28, 2018
  • Beginners: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Intermediate / Advanced: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Equipment: All balls are furnished. Students must furnish their own racket.
  • Registration Deadline: May 29
  • Fee: $24 each session, $3 late fee will be added after May 29

Session B

  • Date: July 2 - July 30, 2018
  • Beginners: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Intermediate / Advanced: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Equipment: All balls are furnished. Students must furnish their own racket.
  • Registration Deadline: June 22
  • Fee: $24 each session, $3 late fee will be added after June 22

Hub City Open Tennis Tournament
