WOMEN’S MORNING EXERCISE


Join us in this class of general exercise that emphasizes flexibility and general fitness. Registration will be taken at the first class. Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

SENIORS OPEN GYM


The Washington Street Gym will be open for seniors to shoot hoops and play basketball. Come give it a try! Tuesdays and Thursdays.

WALK FOR HEALTH


Any day, Monday through Friday, come to the Washington Street Gym at 401 North Washington Street and walk for your health. The gym will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There is no charge. The Gym will be closed on days when Senior Nutrition does not serve meals.

PiYo is athletic training that is influenced by Pilates and Yoga. Use your own body weight as resistance and combine the stretch of yoga with the core strengthening of Pilates to streamline and define your muscles, while building strength and flexibility in your athletic ability. High intensity, yet low impact, this workout is ideal for anyone looking to add variety to their routine, gain strength and mobility at the same time, or begin implementing a core strengthening program. This is a class that combines energy, movement and flow into yoga and Pilates!

BEGINNING BALLET


Ballet is a beautiful, graceful dance that leaves your body feeling stretched and strong. Students of any age and experience are welcome in this class, tights and leotards are optional! Grades 9 and up.

BEGINNING TAP


Borrow or purchase a pair of shoes from us, or bring your own and make some noise with your feet! Tap is a fun way to get out and get moving while working your brain at the same time! All are welcome! Grades 9 and up.

NEW! BEGINNING MODERN


Great for beginning dancers or experienced dancers looking for a refresher course, this class will teach the rudimentary movements that are the foundation for classical modern dance. Students will focus on contractions, spirals and basic floor work while building core strength and flexibility in a fun and encouraging environment. Wear loose comfortable clothing you can move in - no shoes required! Grades 9 and up.
