Registration for all Fall Classes will begin Tuesday, September 4. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available. All classes are subject to 6.5% sales tax. HAPKIDO-KOREAN STREET SELF DEFENSE


Practical hands-on applications for real-life situations. Gain self-confidence as you begin to recognize and put to use your basic survival instincts and natural reactions in potentially threatening situations. Students should wear clothes suitable for low impact exercise. Shoes will not be worn for class. Ages 14 and up.

STOP THE BLEED – NEW!


A person who is bleeding can die within five minutes. This course is part of a National Awareness Campaign to teach basic life-saving skills and bleeding control methods. Blood loss is the leading cause of preventable death in multiple casualty events involving trauma. Bystanders play a crucial role in caring for the injured before emergency responders arrive. This one-hour course is similar to how you learn to perform CPR, and provides training in how to use hands, dressings and tourniquets and consists of a lecture and hands-on skills training. Sponsored by Aberdeen Fire and Rescue and the Avera St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation.

PiYo is athletic training that is influenced by Pilates and Yoga. Use your own body weight as resistance and combine the stretch of yoga with the core strengthening of Pilates to streamline and define your muscles, while building strength and flexibility in your athletic ability. High intensity, yet low impact, this workout is ideal for anyone looking to add variety to their routine, gain strength and mobility at the same time, or begin implementing a core strengthening program.
