Summer Reading Programs

Library Summer Reading Club for the Entire Family

Everyone will receive their official Library Reading Club Card at the Public Library. Each book you read will be marked on your Club card. There are different reading cards for each age group: children, teens and adults. When the card is full, return it to the Public Library to be entered in the weekly prize drawings. All Club cards will be put in for the end of the summer and the grand prize drawings. Audio and ebooks do count. No registration and no fee.

Teen Xtreme!

Xtreme fun at the library! Every week there will be a new theme where we play games, do activities, technology, etc. No registration required.

Dates: Thursdays, June 8th - June 29th
Grades: 6th -12th
Time: 2:00-3:00 PM (except for those mentioned times below)

June 8th -- DIY Day -- Make your own craft items and take them home with you, lots of different things to do.

June 15th -- Lip Sync Battle Tournament Style -- Bring your song and lip singing abilities with you have fun! *Program will be held 2:00-4:00PM

June 22nd -- Game Day -- Will be playing different games, card, board and life size.

June 29th -- Special Guest: Tom Hurlbert, CO-OP Architect will be here and following the presentation there will be a building challenge. *Program will be held 2:00-3:30 PM

DIY Family Fun Craft Days

Come and use your creative expertise and have fun crafting while using many different items like beads, jewels, paint, feathers, duct tape, cable ties and so much more. What you make, you get to take home with you!

Dates: July 5th and July 6th
Time: 1:00-4:00 PM
